Keeping Children Safe In Education

The safety and welfare of our pupils is of the utmost importance.  All adults within Glenthorne are aware of their duty to protect children from harm and abuse, promote their welfare and be alert to indications that any pupil might be at risk of harm or abuse.  They are aware that this could happen to any child and that any concerns need to be referred on. 

Safeguarding covers the actions we take to protect the welfare of all our students. 

Child Protection concerns actions taken for those students who have been identified as having suffered or may be at risk of suffering significant harm.
