Curriculum Aims:

To deliver a curriculum that fulfils the requirements of the specification through thoughtfully sequenced lessons that provide students with the tools to critically engage with meaning in media texts by developing an understanding of different visual techniques alongside relevant theory and context.

To ensure that analysis and application skills will allow for complexity in responses and that students are confident in developing their own critical voice.

To develop pupils who are passionate about the power of Media and Film Studies and its ability to build empathy and insights into wider society.
