School Fund
Glenthorne has a School Fund intended to provide the extras for its pupils, which makes the school experience richer and more enjoyable. We request that parents make an annual contribution of £60.00 per year, for each child at the school. We mainly use it to maintain and service our minibuses for educational visits and sports fixtures, but also to buy resources and equipment which would otherwise be unaffordable.
You can pay School Fund by cash or credit/debit card in the Finance Office or via ParentPay. Please help us to add 28p to every pound that you give, at no extra cost to you, by completing a form available from the Finance office, ticking the Gift Aid box and completing your full name and address. It is also possible to pay £5.00 a month by direct debit.
If pupils are recorded as being eligible for Free School Meals in the last six years, Looked After or have a parent serving in the Armed Forces, then they are classed as Pupil Premium and are exempt from paying School Fund.
